Rather than simply documenting a moment, I aim to translate the atmosphere of an image through the lens of my internal state. At times, my emotions are hard to define, but I’ve learned to embrace that ambiguity. The highs and lows alike allow me to feel more deeply.
While editing, I often work intuitively, guided by personal aesthetics rather than structured thought. Later, when revisiting the images with distance, I sometimes notice echoes of film, music, or literature, which are those references that I hadn’t consciously intended but that surface naturally. It’s in these moments when image and memory, sound and silence intertwine, perhaps that I find the greatest satisfaction.
